This was the conference's 22nd edition. The conference is a series of well-established scientific conferences bridging the areas of computational, mathematical, statistical, and biological sciences. The conference featured keynote talks by pre-eminent scientists in life sciences, presentations of groundbreaking research in computational biology, selected over the course of a highly rigorous peer-review process, and poster sessions on the latest research progress. RECOMB 2018 was located at the International Conference Center (CICSU) of the Pierre and Marie Curie Campus of Sorbonne University in the historic Jussieu district of Paris. The conference was attended by 510 participants.Following a tradition started by Michael Waterman at the first conference, RECOMB 1997, the Journal of Computational Biology (JCB) has published every year the RECOMB/JCB Special Issue containing a set of articles in final form presented at that year's RECOMB conference. The present volume is the 2018 RECOMB/JCB Special Issue and contains 13 articles presented at the conference.FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails Volume 27Issue 3Mar 2020 InformationCopyright 2020, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishersTo cite this article:Sorin Istrail.Preface Special Issue: RECOMB 2018.Journal of Computational Biology.Mar 2020.301-301.http://doi.org/10.1089/cmb.2020.29026.siPublished in Volume: 27 Issue 3: March 11, 2020PDF download
