Innovations for the Urban Energy Transition: Preparing for the European Renovation Wave October 11-13, 2022 | Delft, The NetherlandsWelcome to the SBE22Delft Conference, Innovations for the Urban Energy Transition!We are thrilled to share a dynamic program covering a range of perspectives that address the growing need to speed up the pace of energy efficiency renovations in existing buildings in the EU.To meet the objectives of the European Green Deal, the energy performance of buildings across Europe must be improved. It is estimated that 85-95% of the buildings that exist today will still be standing in 2050 and of those, 75% are not energy efficient. While renovations are occurring, only 1% of buildings are undergoing energy efficiency renovations per year.
