PREFACE: International Collaborative Conference of Modern Agricultural Technologies (ICCMAT2021)

Abstract

International Collaborative Conference of Modern Agricultural Technologies (ICCMAT-2021) is a prestigious event organized by the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, in collaboration with the College of Agricultural Sciences and Engineering, Salahaldin University with a motivation to provide an excellent international platform for academicians, researchers, engineers, industrial participants and budding students around the world to share their research findings with the global experts.ICCMAT was held basically via physical attendance for two days 24-25 March, 2021 in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq. Only researchers who were un able to attend physically due to COVID-19 and travel restrictions, epically the international participants were allowed to participate virtually in the second day in two sessions via Free Conference Call (FCC) platform. Each participant was given approximately 10 minutes to view the most important findings of his/her research, and 5 minutes to discuss these results.The theme of the ICCMAT2021 conference is “Application of nanotechnology, remote sensing, GIS and software in modern agriculture, Biotechnology & genetic engineering, Water harvesting, Desertification combat & modern irrigation systems, Conservative agriculture, Tissue culture & biological control, Protectorate agriculture, hydroponic, organic agriculture & bio-fertilization techniques, Agricultural extension, new technologies transfer & agricultural economies, Medicinal & aromatic plants, Modern machinery technologies, Food sciences & technology, animal production & hygiene, Plant protection & horticultural technologies, Global warming in Agriculture, Desertification and water resources, Plant geographical distribution and planting date and Agricultural environment. This event offers the chance for a world gathering of scientists, practitioners, engineers, industrial participants, and educators from totally different professional views however share common interests to explore and become aware of the developments in these fields. We are delighted to have over 130 participants from all over the world to join ICCMAT2021 conference and share their research findings and enlighten their new ideas to make this event growing from strength to strength.
