Abstract
Proposal of Health Promotion Program for the Elderly Health care is a key activity for achieving good-quality of life with advancing age. Considering the importance of population aging in Serbia, the program-based, integrated health care is proposed to be achieved at the national level through the institutionalized, strategic and structural planning, and implementation of Health Promotion Program for the Elderly. We have given a proposal of the model for development of a program of this kind. Our proposal includes and objectives, operational tasks and measures for their achievement, as well as the activities aimed at health preservation and health promotion viz. prevention, control and early detection of diseases and other health disorders, treatment and rehabilitation.
