Abstract
 The aim of the article is to explore issues in the field of school management on the example of research carried out among teaching staff belonging to the School Team for Psychological and Pedagogical Assistance. The subject of the research are team management styles and psychosocial aspects of management important from the point of view of the effective implementation of team tasks. This article is an attempt to answer the problem questions: What styles of management of the School Team for Psychological and Pedagogical Support do the surveyed teachers prefer? In the opinion of the respondents, do the team management styles determine the effectiveness of the goals and tasks achieved? What competencies should the person managing the team have? Due to the purpose and specificity of the research, the diagnostic survey method was used, the interview as a research technique, and the tool was a categorized, open, individual interview questionnaire consisting of open and closed questions addressed to the teaching staff working within the school's Psychological and Pedagogical Support Team
