Abstract

This study was conducted to identify factors that influence health-related quality of life in Korean elderly. This study used a cross-section design with secondary analysis of Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2013. A total 777 participants aged 65 years and eldery were selected. Health-related quality of life using EQ-5D, smoking, alcohol use, physical activity, food security index, body mass index, mental health(perceived stress, depression, suicidal thoughts), health care(health screening, cancer screening) were measured. Descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were conducted with SPSS/WIN 18.0.
