Abstract
Objectives: Delivery outside of the operating room setting, also known as an extramural delivery, is a rare but potentially devastating complication for women undergoing second-trimester dilation and evacuation (D&E). Unscheduled deliveries can be emotionally traumatic for both the patient and care providers involved. Our primary objective was to identify risk factors associated with extramural delivery.
