Predictive power of theory needs good models and accurate calculation methods to solve the Shrödinger equations of the systems concerned. In this talk, I present some examples of successful predictions based on the nuclear cluster models of light nuclei and hypernuclei and on the calculation methods (CDCC and GEM) that have been developed by Kyushu group.
