Abstract

Nowadays telecommunication and radioelectronic systems are used in the many branches of human activity. During these systems operation there are strong requirements for their reliability and efficiency of intended use. To prevent failures and damages of equipment, different maintenance strategies can be implemented. This paper concentrates on research of predictive maintenance approach for telecommunication and radioelectronic systems. The initial information for this maintenance realization is statistical data for diagnostic variables trends. The diagnostic variables trend is approximated using two-segmented regression and the ordinary least squares method. To detect the changepoint occurrence, Fisher's test is used. The result of approximation by two-segmented regression gives the predictive value of remaining useful life of certain telecommunication and radioelectronic system. Presented in the paper research can be used during improvement of maintenance system for equipment with diagnostic variables monitoring.
