Abstract
The work described in this paper is part of a research investigation into the fatigue life of plain concrete in compression. The results of fatigue tests conducted at various stress levels are presented and discussed. Several models are analysed for the estimation of fatigue life and a set of SNP curves derived from the conventional SN relationship and cumulative normal distribution function is proposed for the prediction of fatigue life of plain concrete for stress levels ranging from 65 to 85 per cent.
