Abstract

Combined with the results of numerical simulation, based on the characteristics of grey theory was used to study the influence of cave height and span on the ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation. The results show that the ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation decreases with the increase of cavern height and span, and the influence of cavern height is greater than that of cavern span. The grey theory can better reflect the change rule of ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation under the height and span of karst cave, and the error between the calculation result and the numerical simulation result is 4.69%, indicating that the grey theory can be better used in the prediction of ultimate bearing capacity of pile foundation.
