Abstract

The aim of this paper is two-fold. First, it develops workable models for specific devices which are known to inject harmonics into power distribution systems, namely ac-dc converters. Second, these models are then combined with distribution system elements, and the resulting network is solved to yield harmonic voltages. An example is presented, showing the authors' application of the techniques to analyze a real-life installation.
