Abstract

Abstract Artificial Neural Network is used for the classifications of flow regimes in air-water flow through micro channels are presented. 561 data points from various experimental results from the published literature for air-water two-phase flow in circular micro channels have been used. Three different well known artificial neural network models have been used to predict the flow regime. The ANN model based on Levenberg-Marquardt training algorithm gives the slightly better predictability over the other training algorithms.
