Abstract

The Industry needs to assess its Engineering Manpower for running it successively and efficiently. If proper qualified and experienced technical personnel are not available, the Industry can not run in the most efficient way. On the other hand if the personnel available are more than its requirement, the Industry will suffer loss. Here an effort is made to assess the Engineering Manpower requirement (personnel belonging to Mechanical Engineering) in the Steel Manufacturing industry group in the state of West Bengal for the next five years. The Fuzzy Feed Forward Back Propagation Neural Network Method is applied for the assesment of Engineering Manpower.
