Abstract
Pre-ovulatory oocytes collected after controlled ovarian stimulation are considered mature with the extrusion of the first polar body at ICSI. However embryonic development varies following ICSI for morphologically mature oocytes. We conducted this study to investigate whether it is possible to predict embryonic development and clinical outcome according to the stages of nuclear maturation division.
