Abstract

1. The possibility has been established of predicting the long-term bulk deformability of cross-linked polymers with various degrees of hardening by the TTA method. 2. It has been established, with accuracy sufficient for practical purposes, that the influence of the degree of hardening during deformation under conditions of isotropic compression appears only for instantaneous elastic deformations. 3. Applicability of the model of a nonlinear viscoelastic medium of hereditary type is shown, account being taken of the influence of the form of the stressed state, for description of the deformation under conditions of isotropic compression during various complex loading schedules.
