Abstract

Predicting Sewer Conditions for Large Collection Systems: The L.A. ExperienceThe purpose of this presentation is to discuss a cost-effective method to evaluate the risk of failure to prioritize pipes for inspection based on a sewer condition prediction algorithm. This sewer condition prediction algorithm utilizes pipe age, material, slope, and pipe length in its risk of failure determination. The algorithm could easily be adjusted to incorporate additional factors such as...Author(s)Regidia MayrenaC.
