Abstract

This paper mainly discusses the prospect of the trade war between China and the US, the future trend of china-US economic and trade relations, and extensively analyzes the causes and influences of the trade war from the perspective of case analysis method and comparative analysis method. The trade war triggered by the trade deficit stems from the desire of both countries to maintain their own strength and economic growth, which makes the compromise difficult. In addition to the continued worsening of bilateral ties, a future decoupling of China-US economic and commercial relations will have significant repercussions for China and the United States, as well as the world economy. In order to prevent the decoupling of our China-US trade ties, China and the United States must settle their differences in our US economic and trade relations via more communication and consultation.
