Abstract

In Canada precollege anthropology displays regional differences in strength and approach. The greatest difference is between Anglophone and Francophone regions, but each province and territory also has distinctive. strengths and limitations. This article surveys precollege anthropology in Anglophone regions: outside Quebec before focusing on Halifax, Nova Scotia, where Saint Mary's University has been actively promoting precollege anthropology. The University's strategies provide a model with application across North America.
