Abstract

Fundamental harmonic approximation (FHA) has been widely used in loose coupling wireless power transfer (WPT) system. However, FHA will compromise the analysis accuracy due to the high harmonic components in strong coupling system. In this paper, a precise analytical method is proposed for strong coupling WPT system, and the output expression considering the contributions of the harmonic components is derived. Both simulations and experimental measurements are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
