Abstract

Measurements of soil moisture content, precipitation and ground water level have been carried out between August 1963 and April 1965 at a locality in southern Sweden. The soil moisture has been studied by means of a neutron moisture gage in four access tubes. The results include a discussion of the characteristic fluctuations of soil moisture content, ground water level and precipitation at the investigated locality. The agricultural significance of soil moisture variations throughout the period has also been discussed as well as the possibilities of estimating evapotranspiration. Pe3loMe
