Abstract

Formation of HTaO 3 precipitates on the surface of LiTaO 3 subjected to high-temperature annealing, T ∼ 1000 ∘ C , in air has been studied by reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED). Coherence relation has been defined between HTaO 3 and (1 0 0) LiTaO 3 substrate. The development of superstructure ordering of HTaO 3 has been detected with annealing temperature and time increase.
