Abstract
The article deals with the formation of precedent proper names on the material of the text of the famous poem (book about a soldier) “Vasily Terkin”. It is shown how the image and the name of the famous hero A.T. Twardowski gained universal fame. It also analyzes the appearance of symbolism in the geographical name of Borka, the conditional small homeland of any Soviet soldier on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War.
