Abstract

Rationale: Patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis who are undergoing cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraoperative chemotherapy (CRS-HIPEC) are at high nutritional risk. As a consequence, it is recommended to carry out nutrition screening and assessment that include a dietary intake. Assess dietary intake and check the adequacy of the intake to the recommendations from the ESPEN guidelines for cancer patients* (25-30 kcal/kg/day and 1-1.5 g/kg/day of protein).
