Abstract
As Práticas Integrativas e Complementares (PIC) apesar das suas origens antigas foi redescoberta na contemporaneidade. Diante disso, na data de 3 de maio de 2006 o Ministério da Saúde (MS) elaborou, por meio da Portaria n° 971/2006, a Política Nacional de Terapias Integrativas e Complementares (PNPIC) em busca de legitimar e incentivar as práticas integrativas e complementares na rede de saúde pública, especialmente na Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). O presente artigo, por meio de dados fornecidos pelo departamento de informática do sistema único de saúde, deseja analisar a oferta dessas práticas.
