Abstract

This article is a reflection on the results of the qualitative research Organizacion de poblacion desplazada y restablecimiento de derechos en las ciudades de Medellin y Bogota, it was realized by two research groups: Laboratorio Universitario de Estudios Sociales of the Fundacion Universitaria Luis Amigo and Grupo de Estudios Sociopoliticos Contemporaneos of Fundacion Universitaria Monserrate. The text presents the results of this research, emphasizing on the practices which are implemented by displaced people organizations (DPO), the effects that produce in its organizational dynamic and the role they play within the social positioning and standing as a political and community collectivity. All this have the intention of generate a better comprehension of the multiples ways in which DPO response to the impositions of the contexts in which they develop and self-organize in order to find a restitution of the lost human rights. © Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Sociales.
