Abstract

The purpose of the article is to show the evolution, character and elements of the practice of applying the law of grace in the Republic of Poland of the interwar period (1918–1939). The general feature of pardon in Poland during World War II will also be mentioned. Both the content and the essence of the law of grace, as well as the specifics of its application will be analyzed.
