Abstract
The article aims to present the issues relating to the education of teachers in the interwar period. The text presents its main forms. Lack of modern legal literature referring to the educational law in this period constituted the main inconvenience. In this context, it seems that the history of Polish education deserves even more comprehensive research. This article may be an introduction to this type of studies.

C Legal Principles of Elementary School Teachers Training During the Second Polish Republic. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie zagadnień odnoszących się do kształcenia nauczycieli w okresie międzywojennym. U cią okazał się niemal zupełny brak współczesnej literatury prawniczej poruszającej problematykę prawa oświatowego w przedmiotowym okresie. W poszczególnych dzielnicach kraju w okresie zaborów funkcjonowały różne formy i przepisy odnoszące się do przygotowania kadry nauczycielskiej. Zagadnienie unifikacji ustawodawstwa związanego z kształceniem nauczycieli wydawało się kluczowe z punktu. W tej sytuacji zdarzały się przypadki rezygnacji nauczycieli z wykonywania zawodu[5]. Prawne zasady kształcenia nauczycieli szkół powszechnych w okresie II RP. Niniejszy tekst ma na celu przedstawienie prawnych zasad kształcenia nauczycieli szkół powszechnych w okresie II RP. Zaprezentowano główne, z punktu widzenia liczebności nauczycieli, formy ich kształcenia. Istotną niedogodnością okazał się niemal zupełny brak współczesnej literatury prawniczej poruszającej problematykę prawa oświatowego w przedmiotowym okresie.
