Abstract

Background: Pralioxime has been used as a treatment for organophosphate poisoning. Several studies have reported its vasoconstrictive property, which may facilitate the restoration of spontaneous circulation after cardiac arrest by increasing coronary perfusion pressure (CPP). We investigated the effects of pralidoxime administration on CPP and resuscitation outcomes in a pig model of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
