Abstract

Character holds superior values that must be internalized from an early age, especially in education, as a provision of strength for students to survive and be consistent as individuals who are firm in the era of disruption. The elementary school period is actually a golden age for each individual to practice good habits to internalize and make it a meaningful habit. This research was carried out on the findings of the implementation of habituation and character building at SD Muhammadiyah 2 GKB Gresik. Aims to describe the implementation of habituation and character development through psychosocial analysis and the implementation of the Second Pancasila Precepts. Using a type of qualitative research with the case study method, this research was carried out by collecting data based on interviews, document analysis and direct observation. The data obtained shows that habituation and character development have a systematic and sustainable implementation pattern. Through habituation monitoring carried out, evaluation and coaching can be given on target. The conclusion is that based on psychosocial analysis and the implementation of the Second Pancasila Precept, good practice of habituation and character building shows a connection and has an impact on the change and sustainability of the character of students.
