Abstract

As pioneer research, the authors of this study focused on the analyzing impact of thermomechanical shock load on the behavior of the circumferentially graded single-walled carbon-nanotubes reinforced (CG-SWCNTR) nanocomposite sector circular plates with fully clamped boundaries. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, the three-dimensional theory of elasticity is considered the platform to define the governing equations. To solve the time-dependent equations, the differential quadrature approach (DQA) is combined with the Laplace transform. The construction of such structures will be possible in practice in the near future based on the accurate results obtained in this study.
