Abstract

While analyzing an electrical system with impulse signals, there is a possibility that the fulfillment of the quasi-static condition in the analyzed system has not been met. This lack of awareness can lead to incorrect results, especially in the upper parts of the spectra of the analyzed quantities. The first paper, “Issues Concerning Determination of Impulse Voltage, Current, and Impedance” addresses the fulfillment of a quasi-static condition in time and frequency domains with a few examples in an easy-to-understand manner.
