Abstract
Happy New Year! In this first issue of 2017, I would like to share with you three excellent papers. Validation of a computational electromagnetic model (CEM) forms an important part of electromagnetic simulation, especially for EMC design. Chuan Zhang, Bowen Li and Hongliang You from China Defense Science and Technology Information Center and Yijing Liu from Beijing Institute of Electronic System Engineering, China took great effort to carry out a comprehensive literature review on CEM validation work done between 1985 and 2014. They present their findings in the first paper, "Visualizing the Research Profile of CEM Model Validation: A Bibliometric Study." For those of you who are looking for potential CEM research collaborators in various countries and regions, this paper will serve as an informative guide.
