Today, the quality of nursing care directly depends on the level of training and competence of the staff, new forms of care, practical experience and skills in working with modern technologies. Target. To study the experience of improving innovations in the work of nurses-anesthesiologists of the anesthesiology and resuscitation department in connection with high-tech open-heart surgeries, in particular, during the implantation of mechanical left ventricular bypasses and orthotopic heart transplantation. Results. Nurses-anesthesiologists play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients in a cardiac surgery hospital. Innovations help the nurse improve monotonous and routine tasks, speed up and facilitate patient care, ensure safety during manipulations, increase the speed and quality of the treatment and diagnostic process, reduce staff labor costs, save the nurse’s time. Much attention in the center is paid to training, continuous professional development of highly qualified personnel. Conclusion. Improvements in the work of mid-level medical personnel, in particular, nurse anesthetists, are a key area for improving the quality and safety of medical care in a cardiac surgery hospital. Further development of competencies, training, implementation of new technologies and strengthening of teamwork will optimize the work of the entire treatment process.
