Fieldbus technology has many benefits and Foundation Fieldbus is certainly easy to use. However, there are practical is touted as being easy to use, wire up and commission; really a version of ‘plug’n’play’ for process control. In reality, there are just as many things to trip up the unwary as in any other new technology implementation.
