Abstract

Abstract As demonstrated in prior chapters, low intensity cognitive behavioural therapy interventions (henceforth referred to as low intensity interventions) for youth can be used to treat a diverse set of psychological disorders. Broadly, these interventions require less time, cost, and complexity and offer more flexibility and adaptability compared to traditional high intensity interventions. Despite their tremendous potential, few low intensity interventions have been implemented in routine practice outside of the context of research. This chapter discusses how to implement these interventions in community settings so that their public health potential can be realized.
