Abstract
This document, Guidelines for Using Composite Systems to Repair High Pressure Gas and Liquid Transmission Pipelines, was prepared for the Pipeline Research Council International, Inc. to provide direction for operators of high pressure transmission pipelines in using composite repair technologies. This guideline document provides technically sound and supported guidance to pipeline operators for the selection, design, and installation of composite repairs that allow the continued safe operation of the repaired pipelines. The guideline also provides essential elements for gaining regulatory acceptance of these repair methods and systems.
