Abstract

Purpose: A variety of brachytherapy (BT) schedules are employed as a component of definitive radiation therapy for cervical cancer. Given both a global pandemic and a proposed bundled payment model for radiation treatments, we sought to test the hypothesis that a shorter 3-fraction BT regimen (3F) would be associated with comparable local control compared to more commonly used 4-5 fraction regimens (LF).
