Abstract

A quark-antiquark rearrangement mechanism is applied to S- plus P-wave pp̄ annihilation. Including the effect of N Δ ± Δ and Δ Δ configurations enables the model to account for up to 70% of the observed annihilation cross section. This is achieved only by including the widths of the mesons.
