Abstract

This is the youngest reported case that underwent the coronary bypass surgery due to spontaneous coronary artery dissection in a patient with neurofibromatosis type 1. Recognition of a possible association between neurofibromatosis and coronary artery dissections will further facilitate successful and prompt management of this otherwise rare entity. The vascular manifestations of neurofibromatosis and the causes of coronary aneurysms are reviewed.
