Abstract

A time-domain simulation program is developed for the National Control Center to study the consequences of the automatic decoupling of the Interconnected Power Systems from the point of view of power deficiency. Aspects of large-scale nonlinearised system model formulation are discussed. Equivalencing and modelling of power plants, loads and network are given. System dynamics are described with state-space method. Computation in the frame of reference rotating with average system frequency is applied. Some simulation results referring to the Hungarian Power System are presented.
