Abstract

The power supply system reliability at the edge of the power grid is often difficult to meet the needs of users. These main problems include low voltage and line failure. This paper proposes a source-optical-storage power supply system without an energy storage converter, which is composed of a photovoltaic converter, inverter, and energy storage battery. Compared with the traditional energy storage power supply system, it is without the storage converter. The system without a energy storage converter between the bus and the flow side reduces the number of system transformation stages and makes the system transformation efficiency higher. The proposed power supply control strategy for this structure considers the battery storage capacity, photovoltaic generation power, and load demand. The strategy realizes the reasonable utilization of photovoltaic and energy storage batteries. The experimental results show the proposed system structure and power supply control strategy are reasonable and feasible.
