Abstract
Structural and phase transformations in steels 45, 40KhN and 45Kh3GNMF are studied in the process of their cooling from the austenization temperature in loose dry silver graphite. The possibility of the use of loose dry silver graphite as a cooling environment for a power-saving heat treatment is demonstrated.
