Abstract
Due to the substantial increase within the illustration of uneven loads and increase in electronic elements of devices that are deploy in residences and with industries, power quality (PQ) has become a serious concern in the region of electrical power system. There are many methods to enrich system power quality but custom power devices(CPD) are emerging as a potent solution to boost power quality with high efficacy and fewer losses. Unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) was one from the custom power devices deploy to enhance the power quality of a system. The UPQC comprises both shunt and series active filters interlinked to the same transmission line. As UPQC is linked between two transmission lines it will be called as an Interline unified power quality conditioner (IUPQC). The structure and control of IUPQC is discussed in this paper. The effectualness of the IUPQC has been carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
