Abstract

Nowadays, DC distribution network is a new trend in the development of power distribution systems in the future. At the same time, the power quality problem of DC distribution is one of the most significant issues that arises attention. Among them, DC voltage ripple and voltage sag are the two major issues in power quality problems of DC distribution network. In this paper, a method for extracting transient signal characteristics of DC distribution network based on Tsallis wavelet entropy is proposed. And the formation mechanism of Power Quality Disturbance in DC distribution network is analyzed in detail. The simulation results show that the proposed method can extract the signal characteristics of voltage ripple and voltage sag more accurately than the Shannon wavelet entropy in the DC distribution network.
