Abstract

This paper will map and investigate the main forms of power that have been built in the field of international criminal justice. Inspired by the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu, and building on previous studies of the field of international criminal justice, the paper will contribute an original conceptual framework for studying the poles at which different forms of power is accumulated and exercised by agents in this field of law. Together these poles form a larger constellation that structures access to and deployment of power in the field of international criminal justice.
