Abstract
The measurement of losses in electrical steel is very important to design electrical equipment. In this paper we present a single sheet tester built by us, for the measurement of power losses using a H-coil method. The measurement system designed by us is an original measurement system, the dimensions of the sample being less then those built by other authors. The intensity of the magnetic field is measured using a coil placed tangentially to the sample. The method we used is based on the symmetry of the magnetic field in the magnetising coil.
