Abstract

The problem of regulating power flow in electrical networks is investigated. Changing the reactive power using compensating devices (SCB) allows you to regulate the power flow in the network. A closed electric network with a rated voltage of 220 kV with three substations with corresponding loads is considered. Four lines interconnect the substations, one connecting them to the electrical system. Ac¬cor¬ding to the loads, the capacity of the SCB is determined. To determine the installation location of the SCB, calculations of the considered network scheme with all possible options for installing these SCB in substations were performed. Several options for installing SCB in various substations have be¬en identified, in which the power flow increases, and among these options, of course, there is the best. Keywords: complex-closed electrical network, reactive power compensation, static capacitor banks (SCB).
