Abstract

The introduction of distributed generation (DG) into distribution network has a great impact on its operation and security inevitably, so the power flow in distribution network containing DG should be calculated and adjusted. In this paper, the interface model including wind power generation, solar electrical energy generation and micro-turbine for distribution power flow calculation of typical DG is classified, taking into account the capacities of DGs and the network parameters. Based the above, this paper utilizes the DG characteristics and proposes two methods, double iterative method and compensation method based on sensitivity. The models are applied to calculate power flow of 90-node distribution system and the results are simulated. The test results verify that proposed algorithm is good in convergent properties, fast in calculation, and capable of automatically processing PV node reactive limits. The results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective.
