Abstract
Abstract Proposes adoption of mathematical coefficients permitting graphic representation of marine sedimentation, either of a series of beds in a given region or of a particular zone over a given area. These coefficients (subsidence and accumulation, agitation of water, and nature of the bottom), although as yet approximate rather than exact figures, are sufficient to permit comparisons and correlations, at least in the case of littoral and neritic deposits.
